Custom Shelving
Designed for compact and multi-use spaces, our custom solid wood shelving units pair with our vertical Murphy beds to maximize available wall space. It is specified for beds 83–91 inches high, with width options up to 12, 24, or 36 inches. The interior configuration features 3 fixed shelves and 4 adjustable shelves, allowing for flexible storage and display. Each shelf can be ordered in custom width dimensions and custom color or stain finishes for a coordinated look - simply select the shelf width above your desired shelf width. When ordering, measure your available wall space, check your bed’s dimensions and add a note with your exact shelf width(s).

The bed and shelves turned out beyond expectation. The practicality of a hideaway, strength of a regular use bed, and beautiful backdrop for those zoom meetings that actually require video presence.
I’m terrible with words, so, bottom line: solid wood, sturdy construction, creative design. Assembly Instructions provided prior to arrival, as well as with the bed itself. It was remarkably easier to put together than we’d anticipated.
Good communication with the owners/builders - they were responsive and patient, especially given overlap with the holidays. We love our new bed, and would definitely recommend for anyone looking at Murphy beds.

📏 How to Measure Your Space ▾
Before ordering, check the available wall area and nearby clearances to confirm fit.
- 1. Measure the usable wall width where your bed and shelf or shelves will be mounted, pay attention to any switches and outlets.
- 2. Deduct the width of your bed to determine the space remaining for your shelving.
- 3. If you want to fill the wall - note any baseboard on the side walls - it will either have to be trimmed to fit the shelves or the shelf width should accomodate that.
- 4. Call or email if unsure or add a note and we will reach out to confirm.
