What are the beds made of?
Our wall beds are handcrafted exclusively out of solid wood handpicked pine boards (and some fir), ethically sourced.
Do your beds need special wall bracing?
Our beds are screwed to 3 to 4 standard wall studs. If you don't have wall studs you will need to ensure it is attached to your wall with fastners of equivalent strength.
Do you do custom orders?
We do custom design features, custom colors. Custom sizes and components are subject to further inquiry.
Do you ship all over Canada?
At this moment, we ship in the Southern parts of British Columbia and Alberta where Ace Courier provides service. Workshop pickup is also an option. You can use the postal code checker to verify if we deliver to your postal code.
How long will it take to get my orders?
Orders will take about 8-10 weeks to handmake depending on the orders on hand. Delivery details will be provided in your confirmation email.
When will my credit card be charged?
Your card will be charged as soon as you complete your order at checkout. If you choose the Lay-Buy payment option on checkout, the payment can be spread out while your bed is being produced (for a small admin fee).
My order has been delayed further than I expected, what are my options?
While product delays are outside of Kootenay Bed's control, we will always notify you when they occur so you know when to expect your order. In the event that you are unable to wait, we understand and are happy to assist in cancelling your order and issuing a refund (excluding Custom order items).
How do I know how much my order will cost?
Final calculation of taxes and shipping charges are shown in the last stage of your checkout process.
